mediaThe Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) issued a media release stating that the Administrative Appeals Tribunal affirmed the detention by the AMSA of the vessel SCF Yenisel in Queensland in October 2013.

The detention was ordered when it was determined the vessel planned to transit Palm Passage of the Great Barrier Reef Marine park waters using scanned and printed charts.. The tribunal confirmed that reliance on unofficial charts demonstrated inadequate voyage planning.
