The US Coast Guard posted a Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB 13-15) providing an update on aspects of its Ballast Water Management (BWM) program, including guidance for compliance with applicable regulations and a change to the terms of extended compliance dates.  US Coast Guard also issued new FAQs regarding Ballast Water Management systems. Both docs are very useful for operators who are still contemplating compliance with USCG BWM implementation.
