Every year 6.4 million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean. 100,000 marine life die each year from plastic entanglement. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a collection of marine debris in the North Pacific Ocean. 80% of the debris is from land-based activities in North America and China.   1. In spite of such a stringent International regulation it appears that these regulations are mare in papers.Few developed countries are trying to regulate in their sea areas what about others?We have to develop some mechanism that the control is universal otherwise we are in danger.
