The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) has established a website to verify validity and authenticity of UK Certificates of Competency (CoC) and Certificates of Equivalent Competency (CEC).
Shipping Company, Crewing Agent or Maritime Administration will need to have log in credentials to use this facility and in order to get the log in credentials one need to send and email to MCA at exams@mcga.gov.uk
Following details are required for application:
- Company Name
- Name of company Director/Chief Executive
- Company’s full address
- Company website details
This portal also has feature of tracking the CoC and CEC application.
