(www.MaritimeCyprus.com) Fleet Management’s Cyprus 10th Anniversary has taken place on Friday 22nd September 2017 in Hilton Park, Nicosia. An excellent party that warmed hearts and stimulated minds as its senior management team, customers, partners, government and other state officials and representatives from the island’s shipping industry and business community toasted its achievements.
The highlight of the its three-day celebrations was an extravagant cocktail party and dinner at Hilton Park Nicosia. The 350 guests included the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Marios Demetriades, High Commissioner of India Ravi Bangar and a number of shipowners (customers), including Alterna Capital, Aslan Shipping, Chemship BV, K Line Bulk Shipping (UK), Spar Shipping, Laskaridis Shipping, Mano Maritime, Nicholas Moundreas, Nordic Shipping, Seven Seas, Tristar Transport, Tufton Oceanic, Unico Marine, and UACC.
Mr. Sunil Kapoor, Director of FML Ship Management Ltd (Cyprus) welcomed all guests and further stated that it was a great feeling to see so many valued principles coming form abroad to take part in FML Ship Management Ltd 10th anniversary celebrations. After a brief synopsis of the challenges and milestones in the last decade, he highlighted this year’s 30% growth and talked on the expansion plans in the near future. He also thank everyone for their continued support and contribution.
In his speech Mr. Kishore Rajvanshy, Managing Director of Fleet Management Ltd appreciated the hard work performed by the Cyprus office and praised their sharp focus on client satisfaction and drive to exceed Owner’s expectations to achieve growth and managing 45 ships, a laudable feet in this extremely competitive market.
Minister Demetriades highlighted the importance of the Fleet Management’s presence and growth in Cyprus. He further stated that Shipping plays a significant role in the economy of Cyprus and the government will support further activities and investments in the Island. The Chairman of the Cyprus Investment and Promotion Agency (CIPA), Mr. Christodoulos Angastiniotis also appreciated the presence of Fleet Management in Cyprus. He emphasized about the important role Fleet Management has played in promoting Cyprus as a shipping cluster. As a token of appreciation CIPA presented Mr. Kishore Rajvanshy with an award for their contribution as “Ambassadors of Cyprus”.
