Synabulk is looking for a Chartering Manager with solid work experience in a dry bulk operator's business. The job will be based in Limassol Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
- Handysize - Supramax operator's business, responsible for the profitable employment of chartered vessels and cargoes;
- Sourcing right dry bulk business opportunity to operate;
- Hire ships and ensure suitable cargo with reasonable freight. Spot & forward bookings;
- Develop new accounts;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Minimum 2 years (ideally 5 years) of chartering experience in a dry bulk operator’s office;
- Capability to generate business opportunities;
- Excellent communicational skills are required to liaise with ship owners, cargo owners, ship brokers;
-Excellent command of English is required;
- Extensive shipping contacts network and good relationship with clients and related community;
- Self motivated and a team player.
