The newly created role as Social Media Executive is an exciting opportunity to help drive awareness and demand in our markets in the multifaceted shipping industry. The role will offer exciting opportunities to a person that thrives with multiple social media channels and varied stakeholder relations. Helping to achieve commercial and reputational objectives, you will work closely with colleagues in communications, specialist functions, and regions.

Key responsibilities include generating ideas for campaigns and producing content for our international channels. If you are familiar with creating quality content and managing various channels that trigger interest and desire amongst our audiences, we would like to meet you.Key Accountabilities: 

  • Bring our channel strategy to life by developing a global content plan.
  • Liaise with our business units to identify topics and convert them into involving stories.
  • Create campaigns for various aims ranging from awareness to lead generation and employer branding.
  • Target our audiences by understanding the platform´s organic and paid functionalities.
  • Create appealing content in suitable formats.
  • Manage our social media channels and communities.
  • Quarterly generate performance reports and take actions to achieve social media goals.
  • Define social media standards and advise our international marketing network.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with relevant personnel across our international locations and various departments.

Requirements

Education & Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communications, Marketing or in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar role / industry.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Experience in content creation.
  • Ability to transform new and complex technical topics into channel-specific stories.
  • Experience in B2B social media.
  • Adwords and wordpress experience a plus.
  • Video experience a plus.
  • Analytic working style and hands-on mentality.
  • Proactive attitude, good networking skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
  • Good understanding of social media marketing techniques.
  • Ability to transform new and complex technical topics into channel-specific stories.
  • Analytic working style and hands-on mentality.
  • Project Management skills with experience in delivering projects to deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Team player as an integral part of the communications team.
  • Fluent in English.
