Azimuth Radio Technologies (Uniteam Marine) is a technical company dedicated to servicing, maintaining, inspecting and selling marine electronic equipment to vessels worldwide.
With immediate effect, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops business opportunities via well-established contacts in the shipping market
- Prepares an annual Business Development Plan in close co-operation with the Managing Director
- Identifies opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
- Monitors and follows up on offers / tenders provided to customers
- Identifies customer’s expectations and ensures these are met
- Attends conferences, exhibitions for networking possibilities
- Fosters and maintains close relationships with existing customers through periodical visits and as may be instructed by the Management
- Responds to customer requests/enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintains accurate records of data related to customers and prospects
- Exhibits a creative, proactive and an innovative approach for new business opportunities
Job Requirements
- University Degree in relevant commercial or business subject
- 5 years’ experience in a commercial role in a B2B environment
- Market awareness
- Very good knowledge of the products / services of the Company
- Very good knowledge of the marine satellite industry
- Good knowledge of the IMO (International Marine Organization) regulations
- Excellent command of the English language
- Long-term experience in international, regional and local work environment
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation
