Job Description:
- Study recap fixtures & charter parties
- Provide commercial and operational support to the masters of the assigned vessels for the voyage and cargo requirements to be met and subsequently ensure compliance with charter party
- To negotiate and obtain proforma D/AS from different agents
- To check draft B/LS and authorize related parties for issuance of the original B/LS and arrange and send the cargo documents to discharging ports
- Prepare freight invoices/accounts/hire statements/laytime computations and ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts
- Handle commercial claims, cargo claims and charter party disputes
- Liaise with masters, charterers, brokers and owners on commercial/operational matters
Job Requirements:
- Good qualifications-knowledge in shipping, ship operations (dry cargo) and post fixtures
- Two (2) years relevant experience
- Fluency in English
- Have organization and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and under strict deadlines
- Computer literacy
