The Position
We are looking to recruit an exceptional professional who will have the overall leadership and responsibility of the Marine team. The successful candidate will be based in our Head Office in Limassol. and will be reporting to the Group Marine & HSEQ Manager. The role’s duties include but are not limited to overview of incident investigations, vetting performance and implementation of Company policy, industry standards and procedures in terms of navigation and marine operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- At least 1 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Sailing experience as senior officer on tankers
- Strong knowledge of OCIMFÂ SIRE System, Safety (ISM/ISO), Quality Management Systems and Security Systems (ISPSÂ Code), ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- A dynamic and results-oriented individual with high sense of professionalism and responsibility
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
- Flexibility to travel frequently worldwide at short notice
- Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
