Customer Support Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling client inquiries appropriately and ensuring that high level service is provided
  • Research potential vendors and compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth enquiries/orders for each vessel
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers
  • Provide admin and operational support
  • Managing internal database and filling system
  • Reporting accordingly to the senior manager

Requirements:

  • Experience of at least 2 years in a similar position
  • Good commercial awareness of the shipping industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the English Language (writing and speaking) is a must
  • Possess good organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and productively as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
