If you are a young professional interested in exploring different job roles within shipping, then our Work Experience Accelerator programme is a great opportunity for you. This 17-month programme offers you a choice between three career paths that will allow you to explore our core operations in BSM and accelerate your career.

According to the path you choose, you can experience our technical, crewing, assurance, accounting, and, if you are adventurous, seagoing careers through hands-on work and training. You will also have the chance to support a global project and receive coaching from our leading experts. This is your chance to try different roles and learn about our work.

What will your work responsibilities be?

Primarily you will be tasked with learning about and supporting the basic operations of each department you join. This is your chance to bring in fresh ideas that make a positive impact in how we work.

Requirements

All applicants must:

  • Have graduated within the last two years with limited or no work experience.
  • Be a graduate of a marine academy, college, or university. Or hold a Diploma for specialisation in technical courses.
  • Educational background should be in one of the following fields: maritime studies, engineering, business, or accounting.
  • Be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
