Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handling client inquiries appropriately and ensuring that high level service is provided
- Research potential vendors and compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth enquiries/orders for each vessel
- Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers
- Provide admin and operational support
- Managing internal database and filling system
- Reporting accordingly to the senior manager
Requirements:
- Experience of at least 2 years in a similar position
- Good commercial awareness of the shipping industry
- Excellent knowledge of the English Language (writing and speaking) is a must
- Possess good organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and productively as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
