- Command negotiations for optimal rates and pro-forma Disbursement Accounts.
- Handpick and collaborate with Port Agents for flawless execution.
- Evaluate and elevate Port Agent performance to new heights.
- Keep meticulous records of all Port Agent activities.
- Foresee potential challenges in trading areas and swiftly alert stakeholders.
- Facilitate pre-arrival Port prefunding for smooth operations.
- Champion approval of Port Agents' disbursement accounts.
- Coordinate bunker procurement and ensure timely payment.
- Reserve berths and anchorages based on vessel itineraries.
- Serve as a bridge between vessel Owners and port operations.
- Craft and refine vessel itineraries, ensuring seamless planning.
- Liaise with onboard staff and arrange essential services.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years shipboard officer experience OR relevant maritime degree.
- Adept knowledge of maritime industry standards and regulations.
- Proven track record in Port Operations and Disbursement accounts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English and a flair for clear, articulate communication.
- Thrives under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with finesse.
- Master relationship builder across diverse business partners.
- Proactive self-starter with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Strategic thinker with data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy with a solid grasp of MS Office tools.
