Dromon Bureau of Shipping (DromonClass) is seeking to employ an Integrated Quality Officer.
Purpose:
The position’s main role is to maintain the Organization’s quality and health & safety system updated and to ensure that the Organization’s services conform to specified requirements.
Reporting:
Reports to the General Manager.
Major duties:
The successful candidate shall report to the General Manager and shall have
the following duties and responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates the Organization’s IQMS to ensure that it is in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 14065 and ISO 45001 quality standards & the RO Code.
- Reports on the performance of the Quality Management System to Quality Manager for review, and as a basis for the improvement of the system.
- Updates and ensures the integrity of the quality management system when changes to the system are planned and implemented.
- Monitors non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Carry out internal audits.
- Handles all matters related to the training of employees and subcontractors.
- Perform any other task related to his position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering.
- ISO 9001 internal auditor training.
- Minimum two years’ work experience in Quality Management systems.
- Knowledge in ISO 45001, 14001, 14065, 27001, 17020 and 17021 will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in the maritime industry will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English both verbal and writing.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
- Organizational skills.
- Team player.
