Fast-moving changes and new possibilities in today’s digital landscape have led us towards embarking on a major transformation to re-design this tailor-made software. As such, we are looking for technical expertise and driven individuals to strengthen our core Software Development team and assist in rolling out new innovative solutions.
For our Group’s Head Office here in Limassol, we are seeking a PRODUCT OWNER to provide analytical capabilities and support these initiatives. The successful candidate will be self-starter and driven, who will be given the opportunity to help shape new product road-maps by gathering, analysing and helping to implement requirements and user needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Be the leading role in planning, monitoring and eliciting requirements
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats
- Improve systems by evaluating current practices and working procedures while uncovering areas for improvement
- Provide solutions to business problems by defining, analysing and documenting requirements. (confluence, user stories, gherkin scenarios)
- Being part of the prototypes and UI mock-ups (wire-frames) procedure
- Prioritise initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements by monitoring performance
- Work closely with development teams, QA, Product designers and be the ambassador and the primary contact for queries related to the product
- Overview and participate in Sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings, guide and offer feedback to the team
- Work closely with Scrum team and be part of all Sprint ceremonies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner
- Written and verbal communication (English and Greek), experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- In-depth experience of the Scrum agile process methodology
- Experience working with Jira or similar tools
- Experience in collaborating with UX team during the design/prototype phase of the project
- Ability to influence operations and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Process improvement, big picture thinking, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Team oriented personality
- Shipping knowledge and understanding will be considered a great advantage.
