Intership Navigation Co. Ltd is seeking to recruit an: HSQE Superintendent
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring a number of vessels for the proper implementation of the company’s SMS onboard
- Responsible for following up on the accident reports/ near misses/ Nonconformities of the assigned vessels and ensuring proper closure
- Monitoring the shipboard drills onboard
- Arrange Internal and external audits for the assigned ships
- Assist the HoD with the emergency preparedness of the company
- Conduct Incident Investigations when required
- Conduct shipboard and office internal audits
- Submit suggestions for improvement of the SMS
- Develop new procedures/plans/ manuals when needed
The successful candidate should:
- Have a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or Master Mariner
- 3 years of experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISM, ISPS internal auditor course
- Have Incident Investigation Course by a Classification Society (IACS)
- Be fluent in both Greek and English languages, written and verbal.
- Be highly organized/ Responsible/ Detail oriented.
- Have the ability to perform under pressure.
- Be computer literate in Windows environment. AUTOCAD will be considered an advantage.
