‌Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Maritime Sales Analyst to join our Sales & Marketing team. As a Maritime Sales Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting maritime data to provide valuable insights to our organization, analyzing market trends, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting the growth of our maritime solutions business. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.

Responsibilities:

‌Data Collection & Market Analysis:

a. Monitor maritime traffic using various data sources such as AIS data.

b. Gather and compile data related to vessel’s movements, cargo routes, and trends.

c. Research and analyze the maritime industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer segments.

d. Identify market opportunities, potential clients, and emerging maritime technologies or services.

‌Sales Data Analysis:

e. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.

f. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales processes and increase revenue.

  • Client Profiling:

g. Create detailed profiles of potential clients, including their needs, preferences, and purchasing behaviors.

h. Assist in developing targeted sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

‌Lead Generation:

i. Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and identify prospects within the maritime industry.

j. Develop and maintain a database of potential clients and leads.

  • Sales Forecasting:

k. Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast sales revenue and set achievable sales targets.

l. Monitor and report on progress toward sales goals.

‌Reporting and Presentation:

m. Prepare and deliver sales reports and presentations to internal teams and stakeholders.

n. Present findings and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Competitive Intelligence:

o. Monitor competitors' activities and product offerings.

p. Provide insights on competitive positioning and strategies.

Requirements:

‌Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a Maritime related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in sales analysis, market research, or related roles within the maritime industry.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with maritime industry trends and terminology is a plus.
