The Corporate Accountant will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of various companies of the Group. This position is ideal for an individual with minimum accounting experience ranging from 2-3 years. The Corporate Accountant will support the finance team in managing general accounting and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Help with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Perform data entry for various financial documents and transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Support in the preparation of tax documents and ensure timely filing.
- Assist in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records.
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with other accounting projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Secondary school certificate with LCC Higher certificate in Accountancy and experience of at least 2 (two) years or University degree in Accountancy or holder of the IAT professional qualification;
- Good communication skills as well the ability to work within a team;
- Very good command of the English language.
