LMZ Shipping SA, an established owning shipping company in Limassol, is looking to hire a Superintendent Engineer for their team in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect the vessels of the fleet and coordinate Master and Chief engineer regarding the general maintenances and vessel equipment overhauling
- Investigate technical issues, examine problems, and recommend effective solutions to ensure optimal vessel performance and minimize downtime
- Travelling abroad to visit the vessels twice a year or while required to attend on board various jobs
- Verify the Spare parts, provisions & inventory on board and ashore
- Day to day operation through various reports and direct contact with the crew on board
- Follow up of Classification matters in coordination with the Technical Manager
- Supervision of additions and any repair/overhauling works
- Planning and Supervise dry docking works
- Valuate the performances of the fleet crew
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of seagoing experience as Chief engineer or 2nd engineer or equivalent academic degree
- Fluency in English
- EU-citizenship
