The Compliance & Sustainability Officer plays a key role in the execution and monitoring of GENPRO’s Sustainability Strategy and the overall company’s compliance with the defined Rules and Regulations contained in GOM (GENPRO Operating Manual/Quality Manual).

Reports to the Compliance and Sustainability Senior Manager/Compliance & Sustainability Manager and working in collaboration with other Departments, the officer assists in the execution of the company’s Sustainability Strategy ensuring that any and all targets are closely pursued and all applicable Rules and Regulations contained in the company’s Operating Manual are abided. The Sustainability and Compliance Officer analyses and assembles Sustainability and Qualitative data, analyses trends and patterns, performs evaluations and audits and present necessary reports that help GENPRO to remain Sustainable and at the same time excellent service-wise.

Responsibilities

The Compliance & Sustainability Officer is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • To develop and assist in the coordination, promotion and development of company’s sustainability projects and policies.
  • Monitor the Sustainability Strategy execution and the defined Initiatives/Targets
  • Identify trends and variations in regards to Sustainability and Compliance
  • Maintain the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard
  • Organize and Execute Sustainability Related Activities/Initiatives
  • Collect and Analyze Sustainability KPIs Data for Annual GRI Reporting
  • Ensure that all company’s activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) and Ethics and Compliance policies and GENPRO’s Operating Manual
  • Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
  • Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborating with external Suppliers and service providers to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Perform Supplier/Service Providers’ Assessments – Business Reviews - Audits

Education, Experience, Training and Special Skills

(The qualification requirements are the minimum requirements)

  • Ideally Degree in Operations Management/Quality Management/Lean Six Sigma or Environmental Engineering
  • 2 years’ + in a similar key role within industry
  • Highly developed evaluation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent MS Office Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, etc. – essential
  • Process Improvement and training on the International Standards Organisation (ISO) codes such as ISO 9001, 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 20400 and/or ISO 37000 will be considered an asset
  • Out of the Box thinker
