Dromon Bureau of Shipping (www.dromon.com), an International Classification Society and an EU accredited Verification & Validation body, is seeking the employment of a GHG Emissions Verifier / Validator to support its verification activities for EU-MRV, IMO DCS, CSI and ISO 14064-1,2 schemes.
Major Duties:
The Environmental Verifier / Validator shall have the following responsibilities:
- Carry out verification / validation of greenhouse gas emissions against EU-MRV, UK-MRV, IMO DCS & CII, CSI and ISO 14064-1,2 schemes.
- Environmental Platform user support.
- Prompt and accurate reporting.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- University Degree in Environmental / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
- To be competent in English language commensurate with future work.
- Decision making, pragmatic approach.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Computer literate.
Nice to have:
- Lead emissions verifier certification (EU-MRV and/or EU-ETS and/or IMO DCS and/or ISO 14064-1,2,3).
- Experience working in the maritime industry involved in technical and/or quality related items.
- Knowledge of and experience in GHG emissions monitoring and reporting aspects.
