MSC SHIPMANAGEMENT Ltd, continious its growth and fleet expansion and as a result they are looking to hire professionals to strengthen their teams. Currently, they are looking
for entry-level Technical Coordinators to join their Technical Department.
Role Overview:
In this role you will use your business, technical and educational background to support our vessel’s Technical Managers, on the day-to-day technical administrative tasks, including but not limited to Plan Monitoring, Recordkeeping and creating report, Classification Files, KPI’s, Flag matters and extensive communication with service technicians and agents worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Record keeping and maintaining database files
- Collecting data and information and creating reports
- File vessel’s certificates in compliance with class, statutory, survey, flag requirements
- Follow up with Flag Administrative for Authorizations, Exemptions and other pertaining matters
- Vessel’s Class Status Follow-Up
- KPI records
- Liaison with service technicians attending vessels Monthly Reports
- Certificates dispatching to the Vessels
- Communications with Agents all over the world
- Involve in other related tasks as required for support the assigned Technical teams
Minimum Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Shipping, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- 0 - 3 years’ experience is similar office experience
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative, or actively contribute as an effective member of a team
- Analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent command of MS Office suite with strong ability in creating reports
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep track of various project milestones
