Your Role:
- Support Ship Operations: Assist in technical due diligence and ensure that vessels comply with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, etc.).
- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee vessel inspections, safety compliance, and review technical documents, such as statutory certificates.
- Collaborate with Experts: Liaise with Classification Societies and oversee Port State Control matters, ensuring smooth operations across all maritime stakeholders.
- Technical Oversight: Monitor vessel movements using the LRIT database, organize Flag Safety Inspections, and evaluate vessels prior to registration.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure that company policies are implemented and assist with additional tasks as required.
What You Bring:
- Experience in the Shipping/Maritime industry or a relevant degree in Shipping, Maritime, Engineering shall be considered a plus but not a prerequisite.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Greek (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent time management skills.
- A keen eye for detail, with high responsibility and accuracy.
- Fast-thinking and proactive, ready to thrive in a dynamic environment.
