Raytec Marine is looking to recruit a highly motivated Service Officer to be based at their Head Office in Limassol, Cyprus.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Supervision of vessels performance regarding radio and navigational equipment
- Monitoring of maintenance and repairs by the crew
- Visits of vessel in case of emergencies or breakdowns for urgent Service
- Supervision of spare part and store supplies
- Preparation of technical reports for the company or/and customer
- Provide guidance to the Operations Officer for necessary spare parts / equipment/service arrangement
- Preparation and carry-out of local Service attendances
- Preparation of technical reports for the company after Service attendance
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc)
- Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
- Flexibility to travel frequently worldwide at short notice
- University Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Software/Network Engineering or any other related field will be considered as advantage
