Safe Bulkers Management LTD. a well established shipping company based in Limassol due to fleet expansion is looking for a Junior Superintendent Engineer to support the technical management of the fleet by assisting in the monitoring of vessel performance, maintenance, and compliance with Company standards and maritime regulations.
Junior Superintendent Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in monitoring daily technical performance and condition of assigned vessels.
• Support senior superintendents in maintenance planning and follow -up on vessel repairs.
• Participate in routine inspections. audits, and dry-docking preparation under supervision.
• Follow up on spare parts requisitions, technical reports, and Class/statutory certificates.
• Contribute to the implementation of the Company's IMS, ISM, and HSQE standards.
• Coordinate communication between vessel and shore on technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records and update technical documentation.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
• University degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Basic understanding of ISM Code, planned maintenance systems, and marine regulations.
• Commitment to upholding the Company's Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a structured technical management team.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
