About the job:
Department: HSQE
Reporting to: DPA/ Compliance Manager
Location: Acheon Akti Head Office ,Limassol.
Job Purpose:
Assist with the day to day operations of HSQE department and contribute effectively towards the HSEQ and Integrated Management System.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Documentation & Record Keeping
• Maintain up-to-date records of class and statutory certificates for assigned vessels.
• Assist in the maintenance of keeping records as per the requirements defined in the Company’s Safety Management System and ISO standards.
2. Compliance Support Administration and Audits
• Assist in the effective implementation, monitoring, review, administration and maintenance of the Company's Integrated Management System.
• Maintain tracking logs for defects, non-conformities, incident reports and near misses.
• Assist in planning tracking and monitoring of Internal Audits and Inspections as per company SMS.
• Assist in preparation for TMSA, SIRE, ISO, PSC, and internal audit documentation.
• Assist in organizing Management Review Meetings.
• Update and keep KPIs data related to Safety, Quality and Environmental matters.
3. Communication and Coordination
• Liaise with vessels’ Masters/Chief Engineers for documentation and report follow-up.
• Liaise with Technical, Purchasing and Crewing dpt related to Safety, Quality and Environmental matters.
• Communication with Flag Administrations and Class Societies for matters concerning to assigned vessels.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a maritime or ship management environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with good typing and formatting skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with ERP Software (like Danaos and other systems).
• Familiarity with classification societies requirements
