
Job Objective
To use data-driven analysis and process optimisation ability to improve operational performance, drive digital transformation, streamline workflows, and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and resource utilisation in the department/ function. Support change management and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders to ensure sustainable improvements.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Performance Analysis and Process Improvement
- Analyse productivity and performance metrics to identify patterns and performance gaps within the department.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using data-driven insights and benchmarking.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making and monitor the progress of improvement initiatives for the function.
- Map existing workflows and processes to find changes.
- Recommend and design process improvements to enhance efficiency, and optimize resource utilisation.
- Support training or onboarding efforts related to new processes or tools.
Digital Transformation
- Evaluate current usage of digital systems in crewing and identify gaps or underutilized features.
- Support the adoption of new digital tools and technologies that enhance productivity and streamline operations.
- Identify automation opportunities in current systems.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at relevant departments.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- University Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years’ work experience, ideally in a larger auditing or business consultancy firm
- Experience with digital tools implementation, automation, or change management is desirable
- Productivity enhancement-related projects in multinational companies
- Experience in maritime will be a benefit.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong analytical proficiency and data visualization skills
- Familiarity with productivity tools, dashboards, and ERP systems
- Knowledge of financial systems, principles and processes
- Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking
- Ability to analyze, design and optimize business processes and change management.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, BI to interpret data
- Familiarity in AI driven tools or opportunities and interest to leveraging technology for process improvement
- Good communication and collaboration skills, also in virtual teams
- Fluency in English
