Aphentrica Marine Insurance Brokers is a specialist marine insurance broker headquartered in Limassol, with a strong presence in Greece and the Middle East. They're currently looking to grow their team with the addition of an Accountant to work closely with their Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Manage accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Manage accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with legal and internal standards
- Support in reviewing expenses, payroll, and maintaining detailed financial records
- Generate weekly cash flow reports and monitor company expenditures
- Resolving all payables - related issues with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Liaise with external auditors for the preparation of financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Accounting certifications will be considered an advantage
What is Offered:

- Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 08:00–19:00)
