Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position the Company as a leader in ship management and marine services. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in B2B marketing, preferably in the maritime or logistics sectors. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that increase brand visibility, attract new clients, support business development efforts, and drive business growth. The role also requires the ability to lead a team of marketing officers, demonstrating strong teamwork, leadership, and self-organisation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with business growth objectives.
- Identify new market segments and customer acquisition strategies.
Brand & Communications:
- Enhance and manage the Company's brand positioning and value proposition across all platforms.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website, SEO, social media, and content marketing.
- Create compelling marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and case studies tailored to ship management services.
Lead Generation & Business Development Support:
- Generate qualified leads through targeted campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the business development team to support business initiatives and client retention strategies.
Market Intelligence & Analysis:
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Track and report marketing KPIs and ROI to the leadership team, refining strategies based on insights.
Event Management:
- Plan and coordinate industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the Company’s services and network with potential clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within the maritime sector.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic marketing planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of maritime services and/or maritime industry trends is a plus.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics tools.
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
