Olympia Ocean Carriers is currently seeking a highly motivated Crewing Superintendent to support our demanding Crewing Department in daily operations and long term planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and monitoring the safe manning of all Company’s represented vessels, based on minimum safe manning and special manning requirements.
- Ensuring that all recruited Seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with Company’s, STCW/MLC and Flag State requirements.
- Ensuring that all Seafarers have passed Pre Employment Medical Examination performed in an approved by P+I Club medical centre.
- Conducting crew changes at various intervals in compliance with the Seafarers Employment Agreement.
- Arranging and monitoring travel arrangements for Seafarers in compliance with port regulations/restrictions including visa requirements.
- Daily collaboration with the Crewing Manager and other departments personnel for effecting punctual and smooth crewing operational matters.
- Supporting the Crewing Manager and CEO with AD-HOC administrative/management and other matters involving the Seafarers safety and Well-being on board and ashore.
Required Qualifications:
- University/College degree in Maritime Studies or a related field.
- Experience in Shipping Industry and especially in Crewing Department.
- Excellent command of Greek and English language.
- Strong computer skills (Mandatory Word/Excel/Power point etc)
