We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Crewing Officer to support our demanding Crewing Department in daily operations and long term planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all recruited Seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with Company’s, STCW/MLC and Flag State requirements.
- Ensuring that all Seafarers have passed Pre Employment Medical Examination performed in an approved by P+I Club medical centre.
- Assisting in crew changes at various intervals in compliance with the Seafarers Employment Agreement.
- Arranging and monitoring travel arrangements for Seafarers in compliance with port regulations/restrictions including visa requirements.
- Daily collaboration with the Crewing Manager and Crewing Superintendent and other departments personnel for effecting punctual and smooth crewing operational matters.
- Arranging and monitoring Seafarers trainings ashore as per companies’ matrix and MLC requirements.
- Monitoring and ensuring that Fleet’s Masters will be forwarding to the office the ships Crewing records as per companies IMS (Integrated Management System) in periodical intervals.
Required Qualifications:
- University/College degree in Maritime Studies or a related field will be an advantage.
- Experience in Shipping Industry is not mandatory but will be consider as an advantage.
- Excellent command of English language, Greek or another language will be a strong advantage.
- Strong computer skills (Mandatory Word/Excel/Power point etc)
