InterMaritime Shipmanagement, the newly merged global company between Intership, Donnelly Tankers and Interorient, is headquartered in Cyprus and currently seeking an experienced tanker Senior Fleet Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical flawless service delivery performance of our tanker fleet trading worldwide. The role includes leading a strong team of Technical Superintendents, managing a diverse fleet of tanker vessels whilst keeping fleet performance undisrupted and always in full compliance; vessel- and customer-centric.
A successful Senior Fleet Manager at InterMaritime ShipManagement should possess a combination of strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex operations in a high-pressure, dynamic compliance environment.
The Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Chief Engineer’s CoC with sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on tankers
- Leadership Ability to achieve desired fleet performance results through leading teams, cross organisational
- Strong OPEX budget management, financial & technical reporting skills
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and commercial acumen
- Maritime regulatory knowledge
- Ability to plan, allocate resources and lead teams to success and flawless service delivery
- Client and Service-oriented mindset
- Software proficiency and IT savvy– competency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent knowledge of the written and spoken English language
