Olympia Ocean Carriers Ltd is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Accounting Officer to support their Finance and Corporate Services Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission VAT and VIES reports.
- Conducting monthly reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and banks.
- Maintaining the cash book and other required financial analysis updated on a daily basis.
- Preparing and assisting with the execution of daily payment runs in line with approved procedures.
- Communicating and liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Daily collaboration with the Finance Manager and or CFO for ad-hoc engagements and administration of the finance and corporate department.
Required Qualifications:
- University/College degree in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with Navision / Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
