As Cyprus's shipping, logistics, and supply chain sectors continue to expand, the demand for qualified professionals is growing rapidly. To help meet this need, the Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training (MIEEK), under the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, has announced the launch of its new Supply Chain Management and Maritime Studies (PSM) program at its Larnaca branch.
Applications are now open for the two-year program, which begins in September 2026. Interested applicants have until Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 12:00 noon to submit their application.
The program is fully accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA) and is offered entirely free of charge, making higher vocational education accessible to recent school graduates, technical school graduates and working professionals looking to enhance their skills or pursue new career opportunities.
Classes take place in the evenings (17:00–21:00) at the Larnaca Technical School, allowing students to combine their studies with work or other commitments.
A Program Designed with Industry
Developed in close collaboration with the maritime and logistics sector, the curriculum combines academic learning with practical industry experience. Students complete six weeks of supervised industrial placement each academic year, gaining valuable experience with leading shipping companies, freight forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers operating in Larnaca.
The program covers key areas including:
- International Trade and Global Logistics
- Maritime Economics and Cargo Management
- Warehouse Management
- Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Planning
Graduates will leave with both the technical knowledge and practical experience needed to enter one of Cyprus's most dynamic and internationally connected industries.
