Fameline Holding Group is organising the 9th East Med Marine and Oil & Gas Exhibition, which will be held from 11th – 12th April 2019, at the GrandResort Hotel in Limassol.
The East Med Marine and Oil & Gas Exhibition, being held for the third time under this name and capacity, is the evolution of the East Med Marine Exhibition. This development derives as a result of the Group’s extended range of activities which cover services and solutions for the upstream and downstream sector of the oil and gas industry.
Taking place for the ninth time, the East Med Marine and Oil & Gas Exhibition remains the only specialised technical marine exhibition currently held in the Eastern Mediterranean. What merely began as an idea from the MIE Group, soon became a tradition for the entire shipping industry, not only in Cyprus but also in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The exhibition is a biannual platform for national and international experts in the marine and oil & gas industries to exchange views and share knowledge and expertise. The event also aims to enhance the synergies between the two industries, to boost collaboration between industry professionals and to promote greater cooperation between the private and public sector. Through this effort, Fameline Holding Group hopes in supporting and strengthening the island’s shipping and offshore industries, which are undeniably, two of its most promising and vital economic sources.
The exhibition is supported by the Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister, the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, the Limassol Municipality, the Cyprus Oil & Gas Association and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST).
The event will be further enriched with interesting presentations, seminars and cocktail parties where exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with key technical and purchasing experts operating within Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The exhibition will be opened by H.E. Mrs. Vassiliki Anastassiadou, Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, on Thursday, 11th April 2019, at 4pm and the exhibition will be open to the public on both days from 4-9pm.
