Overall Purpose of The Job:

Be the marine resource to fleet Cell and contribute toward operating the vessels to the highest safety standards, in compliance with Company and regulatory requirements, ensuring flawless service delivery to customers. Support the Fleet Cell throughout all fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Assistant Marine Superintendent forming part of HSEQ Department is responsible in assisting the Fleet Cells in overall running. They will assist HSEQ Manager in implementation of company policies relating to the provision of onboard safety inspections, Oil Major SIRE and CDI inspections, External ISM / ISPS / MLC / ISO Audits, Flag State inspections, introduction and follow up on Company Safety initiatives.

Furthermore, including acting as back-up to the Marine Superintendents and during AOH to act as a point of contact for the clients, Oil Majors, shipping agents and travelling Superintendents.

To assist with review, assessment of the following:

• Safety Inspection Reports
• Internal and External Audits reports
• Flag State Inspection reports
• ISO audits
• Other reports as required
• BWMP, SOPEP / SMPEP, VRP, SSA and SSP plans

Required Experience ESSENTIAL:

• Sailing experience as deck officer onboard ocean going vessels
• Microsoft Excel Basic
• Microsoft Word Basic
• Adobe Basic
• Good communication/attention to detail skills
• Well organised and systematic working style
• Ability to prioritise workload according
