Vacancy: Senior Accountant, Transmed Shipping Co Ltd, Nicosia, Cyprus

Transmed Shipping is looking for a Senior Accountant for their Nicosia office. 

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and negotiating payment plans.
2. Posting and reviewing invoices.
3. Monitor outstanding trade payables, mitigate any risks and identify opportunities for discounts.
4. Responding to vendor inquiries regarding balances due.
5. Reviewing and monitoring budgets of the vessels to identify any issues.
6. Assisting in the preparation of quarterly/annual results vs budgets of the vessels.
7. Preparing statements, reports and communicating any payment issues to Management or to the appropriate team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or relevant discipline.
2. Previous work experience as an accountant will be considered as an advantage.
3. ACA/ACCA qualification will be considered as an advantage.
4. Proficient in Accounting and Office software.
5. Proficient English speaker, both verbally and written.
6. Strong communication skills and high level of analytical skills.
7. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
