Dry Bulk Chartering Manager / Atlantic Desk
SynaBulk is looking for Dry Bulk Chartering Manager. The position is based at their Limassol office
The Responsibilities:
- Handysize / Supramax operator business. Atlantic desk.
- Sourcing right dry bulk business opportunity to operate. Strong focus on spot bookings.
- Hire ship and ensure suitable cargo with reasonable freight
- Work closely with traders and attend to their queries. Looking for cooperation with trader directly
- Negotiate charter party terms and conditions to suit company's standards
- Ensure suitable tonnage availability at reasonable cost for trading terms
Job Requirements:
- Comprehensive recent fixture list with strong focus on spot bookings
- Min 2 years chartering experience in Atlantic region spot bookings in a dry bulk operator’s office
- Extensive shipping contacts network and good relationship with clients and related community
- Excellent communicational skills are required to liaise with ship owners, cargo owners, ship brokers
- Capability to work under pressure
- Self motivated and a team player
