Scylla AG was founded in 1973 as a family business. We are an internationally operating shipping company with offices in four countries and more than 2,000 employees on our cruise vessels. We offer high-quality cruises, covering everything from ship design to crew. That is what makes Scylla unique. The vessels, including crew and services, are marketed internationally by various tour operators including our inhouse tour operator VIVA Cruises. Our fleet of 39 vessels is expanding, and we are constantly on the move and looking for new opportunities. To support our HR department in our ambitious plans for the future, we are expanding our crewing team.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Compile and update crew records and planning
- Booking flight, train, bus tickets for the crew
- Preparing and sending out travel and docking information to crew, vessel, operations, and agents
- Prepare visa documentation and keep track of the visa process
- Cross-checking invoices for crew flights and uniform deductions
- Online assigning crew with the health insurance company
- Registering crew in the social insurance system
- Provide administrative support to Crewing Officers where possible
Your prole:
- Experience as in crewing is an advantage
- A degree in Shipping, Human Resources or any related field is an advantage
- Good organizational and communication skills are required
- Flexible and able to cope with pressure when immediate changes are needed
- A team player with attention to detail and an independent working style
- Fluent in the English language (verbal and written). German is an advantage
- Indefinite working permit for Cyprus/EU
