We are seeking a Sustainability Officer for our Head Quarters here in Limassol, Cyprus. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-respected, and dynamic company.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for the preparation of sustainability reports, disclosures, and communications for internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business processes, products, and services.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and value creation through sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various business functions of the Marlow Group to identify ESG-related risks and their potential impacts. Ensure implementation of appropriate strategies to mitigate these risks and promote sustainability across all aspects of the organisation.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in sustainability to inform strategy development and decision-making.
  • Provide guidance, advice and support regarding the identification and implementation of local ESG-related laws and regulations. Monitor compliance with these requirements to ensure consistency across the organisation.

Academic background & Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field (Environmental management, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental engineering, etc.)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, including experience in implementing sustainability initiatives and measuring their impact.

Skills:

  • Analytical skills – ability to analyse data and trends to support the management to make informed decisions about sustainability strategies;
  • Communication skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating sustainability goals and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation;
  • Project management – ability in managing tasks and projects often with tight budgets and timelines;
  • Understanding of sustainability laws and regulations – knowledge of local, national, and international sustainability regulations and standards.
