River Hospitality Ltd, a well-established Ship Management Company specialising in both Ocean and River Cruise vessels is looking for an HR & Crewing Officer.
The main responsibilities and requirements include:
- Manning of catering crew for assigned fleet of Cruise passenger vessels.
- Point of contact for Operations Manager, Crew members and Crew agencies.
- Issuing work contracts and other working papers.
- Organizing and ensuring smooth start and end of the sailing season in cooperation with the HR/Crewing Manager and the Travel Department.
- Performing mass crew embarkations, disembarkations, and Crew change operations.
- Organizing and ensuring smooth start and end of season in cooperation with HR Manager and HR Travel Coordinator.
- Preparation for working schedules and expense reports for payroll purpose.
For this position, the following skills are required:
- Degree in HR, Hospitality or Catering Industry, preferable but not a requirement.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-confident.
- Analytical thinking.
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Ability to work with strict deadlines.
- Able to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position would be considered an advantage.
