Offshore Monitoring Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their growing team and facilitate management of EU/UKRI funded projects. Founded in 2007, the company is based in Cyprus, and has international partners and a global team. They specialize in maritime technologies and scientific research. They work with emerging technologies with an aim to transfer them to the maritime sector and convert them into practical platforms for the shipping industry. Offshore Monitoring Ltd has participated in 10+ large maritime R&D projects privately and co-funded by Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe for a total amount of 30+ million euros. Responsibilities
· Facilitate the Project Manager in representing the company and managing EU/UKRI funded R&D/R&I projects in which the company participates
· Coordinate, support and guide the Project Manager with their daily activities and responsibilities; assign tasks to internal teams and assist with handling any issues that arise
· Assist in managing consortium members and/or team members as a Work Package and/or task leader and their tasks
· Coordinate resources and third parties for the execution of projects
· Communicate and collaborate with consortium partners to successfully deliver assigned project outcomes
· Assist in preparation, timely delivery, and review of project deliverables
· Monitor and track progress of the developed project plans
· Assist in managing a variety of tasks, prioritise a heavy workload and meet targets
· Attend project meetings (virtually and in person abroad), conferences, trainings as required
· Undertake and deliver dissemination, communication, exploitation, innovation tasks
· Interact with executive-level staff
About you:
- Postgraduate University degree (MSc and/or PhD) in an engineering or scientific discipline preferably in the Information Technology sector)
- Minimum of 3 years of proven past experience in managing EU/UKRI funded projects or similar project management area
- Prior experience of maritime industry/domain will be considered a plus
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Project, MS Office, MS Teams etc.)
- Proven skills in producing and editing project content within a business environment
- Project Management Professional certification and/or experience as a PhD postgraduate research assistant will be considered as important advantage(s)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, in a team and independently
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills in English language
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-lingual international team
- Ability to research, understand and contribute with technical R&D/R&I matters
- Analytical thinking, strategic planning and ability to problem solve and develop solutions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
