About the role:

The Administration Assistant will report to the Secretary-General and will be in charge of CYMEPA’s website and social media as well as providing administrative support


  • management of CYMEPA’s website and social media
  • Assistance with the educational programs and database management and maintenance
  • Back Office administrative support
  • Participation in the various Programs and provision of support to the Co-ordinators of the Programs
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Secretary-General

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience with management of website and social media accounts (preferably corporate/commercial accounts)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Fluency in both Greek and English (speaking and writing)
  • Willingness to work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills

About us:     

CYMEPA was established in 1992 and our main activities include sustainability projects and extensive public awareness campaigns, giving priority to quality, the environmental education of Schoolchildren and the Shipping industry. In cooperation with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber CYMEPA runs the successful Adopt-A-Ship Programme.

CYMEPA is the National Operator of all of FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) five programmes in Cyprus. These are the Quality Programmes Blue Flag for beaches and marinas, Green Key for hotels and restaurants and the Education Programmes Eco-Schools, Learning About Forests and Young Reporters for the Environment. The Green Offices Programme is run nationally for offices and businesses.
