Responsibilities:
- Understands business requirements in the BI context and designs data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
- Translates business needs to technical specifications.
- Creates dashboards and interactive visual reports using BI Tools
- Analyses data from various sources, (i.e., from databases and flat files)
- Analyses data and presents it through reports that can help in decision-making.
- Ability to handle and analyse large amounts of data.
- Performs SQL queries, designing and coding them, testing them and aggregating the results, in order to create useful information.
- Evaluates and improves existing BI systems.
- Creates visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Develops and updates technical documentation.
- Implements Company’s QMS and makes suggestions for improvements.
Qualifications and skills
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or any other related field.
- 3 years or more proven experience as a BI Developer using QlikSense and/or PowerBI.
- Knowledge of data visualisation and data analytics principles and skills -including good user experience/UI Design.
- Experience with databases and a strong knowledge of SQL
- Analytical and critical thinker who can model and interpret data to drive decisions.
- Ability to formalize and visualize the results of the data analysis.
- Experience with any kind of high-level programming language will be considered as an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Self-motivated and passionate to work with data.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Greek languages.
