Prevention at Sea is an LR ISO 9001 & 27001 multi-awarded marine risk assessment company that offers maritime services for quality assurance as well as maritime software products with the aim to ensure fleet management optimization and data-driven decision making via paperless ship logs/records and big data analytics.
Essential role Responsibilities
- Develops contact and client relations to maintain business continuity of our
company - Seeks potential opportunities for the company and pursue potential clients, spots new growth opportunities, and works to build the company’s exposure and brand
- Propose marketing and sales strategies, tactics and action plans to generate new clientele
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets
- Prepare quotations for clients
- Prepare invoices and quotes in accordance with company guidelines and policy
- Coordinates the whole process of client contact and communication: from
initial contact to business presentations and proposals for clients and to final
agreement processes - Attend trade shows, industry associations, job fairs and events that promote the company’s presence in the shipping market
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in sales
- Maritime/shipping experience will be considered a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command in English language
- Initiative and self-motivation, results focused
- Excellent communication skills: Interpersonal ese and presentational skills
Nice to have
- BD in Sales/Marketing/Business administration or other relative field, including
maritime/shipping studies - Previous experience in sales and shipping
- Passion and drive for supporting our clients
- Eager to learn and continuously improve
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
